James Vance manuscript.

Consists of a typewritten copy of an unpublished manuscript written by Dr. James Vance titled "My Dogs and My Guns." The work chronicles some of Vance's bird hunting excursions in the El Paso area as well as in New Mexico, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Canada. Vance gives a highly detailed account of his thoughts in relation to the various hunting dogs that he owned. He also provides a great deal of information regarding the different guages of shotguns that he used to bring down his feathered game.
